Air Conditioning Estimators / Engineers - Oahu
The Air Conditioning Estimator / Engineer prepares cost estimates for air conditioning services and / or mechanical commercial construction projects. They are responsible for gathering and preparing data for quotes and bids.
The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings & technical specifications and calculate figures to accurately generate estimates. The estimators will work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure proper pricing, ordering, and coordination of materials and parts. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or business college degree preferred. Position requires a professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines a must. High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Maintenance Helper - All Islands
Maintenance Helpers are responsible for providing effective and efficient service of air conditioning equipment to our customers. With supervision, Maintenance Helpers must be able to service, assist with troubleshooting and doing light repair for all air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
Ideal candidates possess basic knowledge of air conditioning equipment. Knowledge of duct cleaning and technical school in related field is highly desirable. Customer service is an integral part of our business, therefore the Maintenance Helper must be able to communicate and relate to all our clientele in a professional manner.
Service Support / Dispatcher - Oahu
The Service Support / Dispatcher are professionals who answer incoming calls and dispatch technicians in a timely manner. In addition, individuals will assist the service technicians to ensure each job is handled properly from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team. Candidates must also possess excellent clerical and proofing skills. Attention to detail is a must. In this fast paced environment, it is essential that individuals know how to manage their time and prioritize their work in order to meet strict time constraints. Good working knowledge of Word and Excel, preferred.
Accounting Manager - Oahu
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the management and supervision of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables department, reconciliation of related GL and bank accounts, and development of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. This role also serves as a consultant for managers within the organization advising them of current budgetary information and working with managers to create a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of related experience, at least 3 years of managerial experience, a solid understanding of GAAP, and experience with Sage Timberline. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who can manage multiple assignments, effectively prioritize responsibilities, is proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Construction accounting experience is highly desirable.
Part-Time Administrative Clerk - Oahu
The Part-Time Administrative Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support to the field superintendents. The ideal candidate will be an independent, motivated individual who takes pride in completing accurate work in a timely fashion. This position will work 19 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 2-5 years of administrative experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office, able to type 45+ wpm and use a 10 key by touch. We are looking for candidates that are comfortable maneuvering on the internet and are able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while maintaining professional composure at all times. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates must reside on Oahu and be eligible to work in the United States.
Accounts Payable Clerk - Oahu
The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk will be responsible for the proper allocation of expense to the correct GL and cost center. The AP clerk will contact vendors to resolve discrepancies and follow up as needed.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Accounting, a strong work ethic, be detail oriented and be able to produce high quality results. We are looking for a candidate who has one year of accounting experience, is proficient in Microsoft Office and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must reside on Oahu and be eligible to work in the United States.
Billing Clerk - Oahu
The Billing Clerk will accurately prepare billing and credit memos, verify cost and pricing, generate reports in a timely manner, process credit card payments and resolve any discrepancies/disputes.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in accounting, one year billing and customer service experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office products and is able to use a 10 key by touch. Experience in Sage Timberline and Service Works a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication and a positive attitude is required. Candidates must reside on Oahu and be eligible to work in the United States.
Junior Estimator/Project Manager - Oahu
Our company does not have distinct estimators and project manager roles. These responsibilities are included in the Junior Estimator/Project Manager position. The Junior Estimator/Project Manager will prepare cost estimates and submit completed bid packets. This position will be responsible for ordering/receipt of project material, schedule coordination with the General Foreman and customer, job site clarity checks, resolution of any issues/discrepancies, and communication with the field technicians and customer.
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering or Business Administration degree, industry related work experience, professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines is desirable. Candidates must reside on Oahu and be eligible to work in the United States.
